Mason Bees

Mason Bees are a species of bee (like a honey bee) that pollinate but don’t make honey. Only the females can sting, and they don’t even try unless they are threatened. There are over 150 types of Mason Bees and some of them are native to Oregon.

Albert Einstein once said that:

“If the Bee Disappeared Off the Face of the Earth, Man Would Only Have Four Years Left To Live”

This image shows the produce section of a grocery store, the left side is normal and the right side is what we would have left if there were no bees in the world. Our food supply would be very limited.
